35 mushroom recipes for you to rock the kitchen

Mushrooms are already part of the diet of many people, especially those who do not eat meat and/or those who try to follow a healthy diet as much as possible. The most popular, today, are certainly shitake and shimeji, in addition to the Paris mushroom (champignon).

Maria Luiza S. Moura, functional nutritionist, comments that mushrooms (which are edible) can be consumed daily and offer health benefits. “They are a good option for vegetarians – as they can be substituted for meat in some recipes –; They have a good amount of protein and fiber, in addition to having a low fat content, being even a suggestion for people who are in a weight loss process”.

“By containing proteins, mushrooms help in tissue maintenance. As they are sources of fiber, they help in the proper functioning of the intestine, help to control cholesterol and can also promote weight loss, by reducing the absorption of fats and promoting greater satiety”, adds Maria Luiza.

Tasty, mushrooms can be used in cold or hot preparations and are super versatile.
