Rudi Werner says to start by parting the hair on top of your head, leaving the front section separate.

“Then, take a fine-toothed comb and comb the lowest section of hair from the crown of the head. Repeat the process on the strand above to make the roots voluminous. Then, collect all the hair in a ponytail, combing the crown area lightly, just to finish off the look. Secure the hair with the help of an elastic band and separate a thin strand from the ponytail extension. Spray hairspray onto the section and wrap it around the elastic to finish. Spray some hairspray on the crown of your head,” she explains.

SIDE MESSY BRAID

“After doing a curling iron all over the hair, use a texturizer to add volume to the top of the root and make the hairstyle more charming”, explains the expert.

Once this is done, separate a small section at the top of the head, as if you were going to make a thinner half tail. Roll it up and then start making a built-in side braid, always picking up the outer strands. When you reach the length of the wires, go to the other side and join the two parts. “Note that it is not meant to be a regular braid. The more frizz, the messier the braid will be”, comments Rudi.

To finish, use a very small silicone rubber band to secure the braid.

“One of the most practical and current tricks when it comes to doing a hairstyle is to throw yourself into hair clips. They came back with everything and make the look super charming”, comments the hairstylist.
