27 Tattoos Full of Meaning That Incredible Readers Shared With Us

Throughout our lives, some people, places, pets or events really leave a special mark on each of us. There are people who need to externalize this feeling in some way, and the way to do it, permanently, is with a tattoo that represents this milestone in their lives and in their memories.

At the awesome.club we love that our readers share with us their tattoos and the stories behind each one. We selected some of our favorites, which moved or surprised us, and show them below.

1. “My father always told us legends about hummingbirds. When he was no longer with us, hummingbirds appeared everywhere — even in the cemetery there they were !! It was as if he was telling us that he was fine, that we were not suffering and that he would always be with us. So I decided to get a tattoo of a hummingbird and my favorite flower in memory of him. It’s like every morning he comes to say hello! I miss you dad”

2. “This tattoo represents my parents, who are almost 50 years married and are boyfriends, partners, friends, confidants. My example to follow, to this day they love each other”

3. “I tattooed a guitar in honor of my father, who loved music, and we even engraved the image of his guitar on his tombstone. And it’s not self-flagellation, because, in fact, it didn’t even hurt, but just seeing this mark on my skin reminds me of the joy with which my father played and helps me to continue without his presence, because you have to enjoy life and nothing more beautiful than the music to accompany it”
