The American plastic surgeon Maxwell Maltz observed in the 1960s that his patients took an average of 21 days to start noticing changes after a surgical procedure. After this period, they began to see the results with more positivity and felt more motivated.

This theory, according to the doctor’s studies, applies to all areas of human life, from simple habits like talking to neighbors to completely changing your menu or including an exercise routine. In short, after 21 days it becomes easier to stick to your goal, no matter what it is.
