18 questions you always hear at Christmas

Every year has the same story at the end of December: turkey, wonderful sweets, summer and family gathering for Christmas dinner. Which doesn’t always result in very fun moments – and some very repetitive. But it’s part!

1. And the sweethearts?

Yup. Not. Taste. I want.

2. Not a flirt?

Guys, what year are we?

3. And the one you had? Already switched?

Ahem.

4. Aren’t you afraid to stay with auntie?

“Hello, I hate you”

If that means being an independent, strong woman who doesn’t need anyone to be someone, then I would love to “stay for auntie”.

5. Should you eat as much?

If you’re not going to eat this piece of french toast, I’ll accept it, thank you!

6. When are you going to get a real job?

It’s already on my New Year’s list, don’t worry.

7. Or: “when are you going to choose a serious profession?”

When I start caring about other people’s opinion!

8. Why are you only on that cell phone?

If only fewer questions like these existed, maybe we could have a normal conversation…

9. You know you won’t be able to get married that way, right?

Of course, because that’s my only concern in life.

Oh no.

11. And kids, they’re already trying, right?
