I met the gentleman in the photo above in Greece, and at the time I asked him the meaning of his tattoo. He said it was a couple tattoo, which was done in Cyrillic simply because he likes the style of those letters. I decided not to frustrate the guy with the translation. He was a really nice person. The translation of the tattoo is beyond strange:

It’s always good to check the spelling of words before getting them tattooed.
The correct spelling of the word is: “daughter” (“daughter”, in English), but apparently the tattoo artist changed the order of the “h” and the “t” and then tried to correct the “shaving”.
