Salem Saberhagen was a 500-year-old wizard with desires to conquer the world, so the authorities of the Other Kingdom sentenced him to live 100 years as a cat. Despite his malevolent plans, he was a kind-hearted, no-nonsense feline and a faithful companion to his owners: Hilda, Zelda and Sabrina Spellman. His personality was so amazing that we can only love him and wish he would someday have his own series.

A total of 7 real cats were used on the set, 2 animatronic and 2 plush dolls.
The zip code for Sabrina’s house in Westbridge, Massachusetts (USA) was 01970, the same as Salem, Massachusetts, the “City of Witches”.
The animatronic cat was the same one that appeared in the movie Abracadabra, like Thackery Binx.
The role of Amanda, Sabrina’s insufferable cousin who makes Salem’s life impossible, was played by Emily Hart, sister of the actress who played the protagonist of the series, Melissa Joan Hart.
The laughter heard after each funny comment was not from a live audience, as the special effects produced by the witches’ magic required a lot of time and work. It was a laugh recording, included in the episode edit.

When the protagonist turns 16, her father tells her: “If you have contact with your mother in the next 2 years, she will turn into a wax mold”. That’s why Sabrina finds her only after turning 18.
In the opening of the series one of the costumes worn by Sabrina was the black dress that Holly Golightly wore in luxury doll (1961). Holly was played by Audrey Hepburn, an actress who also played a homonymous character in the film. Sabrina🇧🇷
