The Harry Potter saga has conquered all our hearts with its magical world. In the 20 years since the release of the first film, the cast has remained friends and their meetings bring back all the magic of the saga.

Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, also known as Emma Watson and Tom Felton, are best friends. They took this beach selfie in 2018. Despite their characters being enemies in the movies, these two have always shared a special friendship.

And the two spent time together again in 2019 when Tom showed they were in South Africa. He shared this sweet photo of him teaching Emma how to play the guitar.

They are also friends with Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the movies. Here are the three with big smiles on their faces in 2018.

Our favorite Harry Potter couple, Harry and Ginny Weasley, got together in 2016. Ginny, aka Bonnie Wright, went to see Daniel Radcliffe in a play called Privacy. We love seeing these old friends supporting each other’s work after all these years.

Tom Felton is another Harry Potter alumnus who supported Daniel Radcliffe in the audience of a play he was performing in. Tom shared this sweet photo after seeing Daniel onstage in The Lifespan of a Fact in 2018.

Fred, George and Ron Weasley (James and Oliver Phelps and Rupert Grint) went to Universal Studios in Orlando with Tom Felton.

The Weasleys were the sweetest family in the Harry Potter movies. It’s great to see that the on-screen brothers are still friends. Here are James Phelps, Bonnie Wright and Rupert Grint reunited in 2015 (with Tom Felton).

And in 2021 Draco and the Weasleys got together again. Tom Felton captioned it, “Secretly, Draco always wanted to be a redhead,” showing that Harry Potter bows (and jokes) last a lifetime.

In 2021, Tom Felton and James Phelps got together again, this time to play a round of golf and take this fun selfie. Even though their characters were often on opposite sides, these actors are still good friends in real life.

Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom — or Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis — are good friends. Tom posted this funny photo of him trying to get Matthew a Slytherin backpack back in 2018. Even 20 years later, this cast still plays around with themes from the Harry Potter movies.

Their characters may have been enemies from the start, but Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton are actually friends in real life.

Luna Lovegood, or Evanna Lynch in real life, shared this photo of her “sisters” Katie Leung and Scarlett Hefner, who played Cho Chang and Pansy Parkinson in the movies.

And the cast even spends the holidays together. Tom Felton shared this photo to wish “happy holidays” alongside Emma Watson (Hermione), Evanna Lynch (Luna), Bonnie Wright (Ginny) and Matthew Lewis (Neville). These actors certainly still share a magical bond, even 20 years after the release of the first Harry Potter film.

And of course, the central friendship in Harry Potter continues to be between Harry, Ron and Hermione. Emma Watson revealed that the cast keeps in touch through a group message. Daniel Radcliffe even texted Rupert Grint recently to congratulate him on the birth of his daughter. Even though they’ve grown up, this magical friendship remains strong.
