Daniel Popper, a multidisciplinary artist based in Cape Town, South Africa, creates giant sculptures around the world, each one defining the magic and fantasy of the place in which it was placed. Through his various sculptures, he shows the importance of taking a deep breath, vividly representing our chest as a kind of ‘garden’ that needs to be constantly supplied with fresh air.

With a height that exceeds 9 meters, the structure known as Thrive it is composed of fiberglass concrete, weighing an unbelievable 14 tons.

This permanently installed piece of art is located in Fort Lauderdale, South Florida, allowing people to walk through its sublime green interior and gaze at the majestic figure.

Popper is best known for his massive public art installations at major festivals such as the Electric Forest Festival in the US, the Rainbow Serpent Festival, in Australia, the Boom Festivalin Portugal and the afrikaburnin the Tankwa Karoo National Park, South Africa.
