14 Celebrity couples who got married in a very discreet way and away from the media

Many celebrities, when they get married, usually perform grandiose ceremonies so that friends, relatives and fans can accompany this very special day. However, there are some famous people who prefer to have more discreet days, at least in their marriage. For this reason, they prefer to hide the party or ceremony under lock and key and only let the public and the press know about these stories days, or even months, after the events.

Michel Teló and Thais Fersoza were married civilly in 2014. The bride looked beautiful in a blue lace dress. The two opted for a very discreet ceremony, at home, with only a few family members present.

The young couple started dating in early 2020. And, in 2021, they decided to exchange rings in a ceremony without many guests. She herself spoke about the event on her social networks, declaring all her happiness: “I married my best friend. I will spend the rest of my life smiling next to him”.

The couple celebrated their wedding not once but twice, both times in secret. The first ceremony was in Santa Monica, in the United States and the other, on a beach in Costa Rica. At the first celebration, she wore a strapless silk outfit with a train and veil, signed by the Dolce & Gabbana brand. In the second, the dress was a sequined tube, without a veil and by the same stylists.

The two lovebirds, who met because they were neighbors, started dating and have been together since 2019. In May 2021, they exchanged rings at a registry office, in a very intimate ceremony. The beautiful Viviane Araújo was dressed in a two-piece set by the very popular stylist Silvio Cruz.

Ivete Sangalo and Daniel Cady made the union official in 2011 in a very discreet ceremony and for a few friends. The couple, who met in 2008 when she hired him as a nutritionist, started dating months later. Today, the lovebirds have three children: Marcelo, Helena and Marina.

The wedding was held in a ceremony in Hawaii in December 2020, without the presence of family or friends. Everyone ended up finding out after the model posted a video on her personal Instagram. The images show some memories of the couple’s life and, at the end, the beautiful ceremony in which the two exchange rings by the sea.

The two decided to get married in a small ceremony with a few guests, in the town of San Quirico D’orcia, in Tuscany, Italy. They already knew each other backstage in a musical they did together, but they only started dating in 2012. They even said in an interview that they are thinking about increasing their family.

The actress released photos from her civil wedding, with businessman and model Leandro D’Lucca, on her Instagram account in July 2021. The union was made official at a registry office in the interior of Minas Gerais and the famous actress insisted to have family and friends participate through video calls.

The two had been dating since 2013. But it was in 2019 that the singer proposed at a restaurant, in the city where they live, which was reserved only for friends and family. The following year, the couple had planned a large ceremony that had to be postponed. Afterwards, however, they ended up opting for a civil wedding with a small gathering at home, with just 10 guests.

In 2016, the young couple chose his family’s farm, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, to hold a ceremony without media access. Only a few days later, Simas released a video with parts of the celebration on his Instagram. At the time, the two already had their firstborn, Joaquim, and had been living together for some time.

The singer and musician Pitty married the drummer of the band NX Zero, Daniel Weksler, in a meeting with just the closest friends, in 2010, in a rock bar. There were musicians from the groom’s band, singers Rita Lee, Lobão and Marcelo D2, as well as presenter Penélope Nova. The bride was wearing a beautiful dress and, the next day, joked on her Twitter saying: “Oops, I got married”.

In 2019, singer Lulu Santos signed the stable union document with partner Clebson Teixeira. The two had been together since 2018 and it was at a concert by the singer, in Rio de Janeiro, that Clebson made the official request. They are very active on social networks and do not skimp on compliments and declarations of love for each other.

The place that the actor and model chose to hold the intimate ceremony was in a city in the interior of Minas Gerais. The meeting was small and discreet, as the bride and groom wanted, had only 60 guests and took place in April 2019.

It was in 2018 that presenter Fernanda Gentil and companion Priscila Montandon made their union official in complete secrecy. The ceremony had no “garland” or wedding dress; the two preferred that everything be very simple, precisely because they didn’t see the need for something bigger. Fernanda explained that only the two of them and their parents went to the registry office. Then they had dinner together.
