The band Killer Castors was born from a cover group called Utopia🇧🇷 During a presentation, the audience wanted to hear Sweet Child o’ Mineof Armas e Rosas, but they didn’t know the lyrics and asked the audience for help. Who was there? Dinho, who was ready to do an “embromation”, drawing laughter from the audience. Shortly after, they created their own songs and needed a new name, which was inspired by the castor plant and the curves of Mari Alexandre, the group’s muse.

There is a legend according to which the band’s first name was inspired by military repression, a demonstration against the dictatorship.
