The journalist’s sensitivity and empathy have already been proven live, being highly praised by the audience. An example of this was a report telling the drama of drug addict families. Once the article was aired, back at the Jornal Hoje studios, Sandra vented that she had cried a lot when watching the report in the newsroom, as she was able to closely follow the destructive effect of drugs, not only for those who consume them, but also for the family. of these people.

Another episode in which the journalist’s emotion was marked was when she had the difficult mission of transmitting to everyone, live, the news of the death of fellow journalist Ricardo Boechat, victim of a helicopter accident. The detail is that Sandra was informed of the accident while Jornal Hoje was on the air.
