12 Daughters of Brazilian Muses Who Inherited Their Mothers’ Beauty and Charisma

Maria João Brewster graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, famous for launching supermodels, in 1978. The beautiful Jordana Brewster, her daughter, was born in 1980, in the Republic of Panama. She moved with her parents to London at the age of 2 and, only at 6, came to Brazil. She lived in Rio de Janeiro for four years, when she learned to speak Portuguese fluently.

Then Jordana moved to New York, where as a teenager she began her acting career, acting in two soap operas. She made her film debut at age 18 and in 2001 she starred for the first time as Mia Toretto in The Fast and the Furious.
