11 Things That Make Your Home Look Messy Even When Everything Is In Order

Often, even though we have put everything in order in our house, we still have the impression that something is not organized enough. Even with everything clean and in place, there’s always something that makes the environment look messy.

Today the awesome.club decided to find out what things make that messy impression, even in perfectly clean houses. From now on, we will certainly avoid happening in our homes.

1. Glass coffee table

We are talking about the glass coffee tables, which were very popular in the early 2000s. On the one hand, they help visually enlarge the space, but on the other hand, they give the feeling of clutter, even with a small amount of stuff on it ( especially if you have multiple shelves). In addition, glass coffee tables require constant cleaning, as fingerprints and any dust are clearly visible. A more practical solution is a table made of wood, MDF or rattan.

2. Creeper

Of course, plants make the interior of the environment much more cozy and fresh. However, this only goes for those placed in the right places and with enough water and sunlight. Some people have the custom of stretching the “vine” of the vines and hanging them around the room. This just adds clutter to the site, especially if the plant is not positioned on the sunny side. Also, dust that collects on the leaves is quite difficult to clean if the vine is high up.

3. Ottoman

4. Chair with thrown clothes

How many of us are familiar with this? After all, it is very convenient to hang pants, shirts and T-shirts on the back of chairs, without having to fold them and put them in the wardrobe. All parts are by hand. And if the chair needs to be moved temporarily to another room, just transfer the pile of clothes to the bed. Regardless of the advantages that the backrest may have, the wardrobe is the best place to store clothes. In it, the pieces do not get dusty, dirty or crumpled, in addition to leaving the environment much more organized.

5. Column fan

The fan is irreplaceable for those times when it is impossible to turn on the air conditioner for some reason, and the heat leaves no other choice. It has several advantages, including height adjustment and being easy to take anywhere in the house. However, the column fan is bulky, constantly interferes with the passage and, even after the end of the warm season, ends up being forgotten in the room, interfering with the organization of the room. An alternative option is the tower fan, which is as powerful as the column fan. Fortunately, today we find a wide variety of models of all colors and sizes.

6. Ironing board

Many of us are in the habit of leaving the ironing board assembled after use. We are so used to it that we no longer remember what the environment would be like without the ironing board open. For convenience and in a hurry, we sometimes use it to place other objects such as the laptop, books and even used dishes. However, this totally disorganizes the environment. Even after cleaning, the open plank gives the impression of a mess. To avoid this, you can replace it with a steamer for ironing clothes, which is much more practical.

7. Horizontal floor clothesline

As soon as you open the horizontal floor clothesline, the room appears to have a third less space. In the midst of our daily tasks, we are often in no hurry to remove already dry clothes and, when we collect them, we don’t always put the clothesline away immediately. This happens even more often when you have a large family, where laundry is done several times a week. To deal with this problem, you can opt for clotheslines of other types. There are vertical models made of wood, which can perfectly match your home.

8. Dishes in the sink

Leaving a few glasses in the kitchen sink has become a habit, because soon you’ll be drinking water or coffee again and you won’t even have to open the cupboard to get another mug. Although there seems to be nothing wrong with that, leaving the dishes, even clean ones, next to the sink, leaves the kitchen looking messy. To avoid the problem, reserve a place in the cupboard that is easy to access and as practical as possible, to store frequently used cups and mugs.

9. Piano

10. Shelf with mirror at the entrance

In this case, the clutter starts right at the door. Generally, things (purse, wallet, coins, combs, creams, perfume, jewelry, etc.) begin to accumulate on the support closest to the entrance, as it is convenient and easily accessible. An alternative option is to hang a mirror, without the shelf, on the wall so you can still “check yourself in” before leaving the house. And don’t forget to keep the objects in their proper places.

11. Multicolored towel and tea towel

If a towel with an eye-catching print hangs in the kitchen or bathroom, chances are it will stand out in the room. In any part of the house it will be noticeable and give the impression of a mess. It is advisable to choose fabrics for towels and tea towels in neutral tones (gray, beige and olive green), which bring harmony to the environment. The same Valley for multicolored bottles of soap, shampoo or dishwashing detergent. An alternative is to replace them with dispensers matching the tones of the room. The effort to bring about this change is minimal, and its effect will be noticed immediately.
