10 Tips to stop biting your nails once and for all

It is not easy to change a habit and, to try to end the bad habit of biting your nails, it takes a lot of effort and awareness of the reasons that lead you to put your hand in your mouth. This urge usually comes after feelings like anxiety, anger or boredom. But some practical tips can help you break this pattern of behavior or become aware of the triggers that lead to it.

1. Keep your nails very short

Always keep nail clippers handy. As soon as you notice that your nails have gotten a little longer, cut them. Even a chipped nail needs to be trimmed, not bitten. So, as soon as you feel like it, grab your nail clippers.
