10 Natural deodorants you can prepare at home

According to a study, the use of antiperspirants can cause changes in the bacterial colonies present in the armpits. Although it is not possible to determine the health consequences of prolonged use of these products, there are people who still prefer more natural alternatives and many even venture to create their own personal care items at home.

In this post, the awesome.club presents some simple and effective ideas to combat the odor of perspiration. But if in doubt, do not forget to consult a doctor to find out which product is most suitable for your skin type.

1. Eucalyptus deodorant

You will need:

1/4 cup of witch hazel water. 25 drops of lemon essential oil. 25 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. Container with spray.

The witch hazel flower has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, as well as essential oils, which help prevent the appearance of bacteria that cause bad odors, in addition to removing some skin blemishes.

To make this deodorant, mix the ingredients well in the previously washed container. As it is liquid, the product will leave a lighter sensation on the skin and can also be used as a room air freshener.

2. Lavender water and vinegar

You will need:

15 drops of lavender essential oil. 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar. 1 branch of lavender. 1 cup of water.

Lavender is known for its pleasant aroma and its antifungal and antimicrobial properties. Vinegar also has these characteristics, but direct application to the skin can cause irritation, so it’s important to dilute all ingredients in water.

In a previously sanitized container, mix the water with the vinegar and the drops of lavender oil. Wash the lavender branch well and introduce some flowers. Let the mixture sit for 10 hours before applying.
