You deserve someone who doesn’t make you doubt

The hardest thing you’ll have to learn is that a few mixed signals mean he cares — but not enough. not enough to give you what you deserve.

You deserve someone who doesn’t make you doubt. Someone who shows you they love you and proves it with actions every day. Someone who pays attention to you and wants to be with you.

You deserve someone who has nothing to hide. Someone who will look you in the eye and invite you on a date at an unusual time.

Not someone who gives you reason to doubt. Not someone who invites you to dinner and then cancels on the grounds that a last-minute appointment has come up.

You deserve someone who takes you for a walk on the beachfront, just to spend a little time with you, where you can exchange childhood stories and stop for a few minutes for a kiss on the sidewalk, as if it were a cliché.

And you shouldn’t wonder what that kiss means. Or what a text in the middle of the night means. You must be sure, because he must give it to you without restriction, without hesitation.

So stop questioning what those mixed signals mean, because in reality they don’t mean anything. They mean you must move on.
