When to look for a psychologist or psychologist?

We should look for a psychologist in 3 situations:



1) When we are going through suffering;

2) When we want to improve some ability or skill;

3) When we want to know each other better.

In general, people look for a psychology professional with the first objective in mind. Certain difficult or painful situations happen and the person needs to find a way out of his problem.

In this first objective, the patient may present symptoms such as sadness, insomnia, difficulties in relationships with other people, crying, anxiety, fears…

In the second objective, the patient wants to improve a certain skill. For example, you want to be more uninhibited, speak better in public, develop greater concentration and attention to studies, etc.

All of the previous two goals are related to the third, the goal of wanting to know yourself better.


Since the Greeks, we have the phrase “Know thyself”. It’s curious, actually, as we don’t really know who we are… and modern psychology has several techniques aimed at self-knowledge.

When a person starts his process of discovering himself, of getting to know himself, he necessarily also begins to develop his potential, skills, possibilities…

And they also begin to overcome and better face their own sufferings.
