Today, we get the impression that ’90s makeup was too edgy and somewhat sloppy. Many of us have pictures where we’re wearing the typical look of that era, and there’s no denying that, at least in the past, we thought we were rocking it. Skinny pants, thin eyebrows, dark lipstick, well-shaped lips, black eyeliner, heavy smoky eyes and, of course, neon blue eyeshadow—the makeup was truly unique in those years.
