It’s amazing but true: for some reason almost everyone (regardless of where they were born) has a mark on their index finger. This is what some Internet users discovered and, of course, shared it with the world via social media. But there are other more or less similar curiosities that we can find on social networks.

The first to bring up the subject in the twitter it was a Russian journalist named Oleg Kashin, although he suggested that only men had this scar. But it soon became clear that women also had this mark.

Explanation: probably this has to do with small accidents that happen to almost everyone. If you’re right-handed, the scar on your left index finger probably appeared when you cut yourself with a knife in the kitchen or when you worked with a hammer and nails. In the case of left-handers, of course, the scar tends to be on the left finger.

Look closely at your body, these spots are especially noticeable when you tan. Some people have more and some people have less. Models also have these marks and use makeup powders and foundations to hide them.

Explanation: a case similar to that of the fingers, which we have just mentioned. We all hurt our knees in childhood and the white spots are the traces of these injuries. If you’re left-handed, you’ll have more on the right and if you’re right-handed, on the left.

Close one eye and look away. Then open and close the other. If you are over 20 years of age and don’t wear glasses, then you will certainly look worse with one.

Explanation: most of the time there is nothing to worry about. In general, one of our eyes is dominant and the brain is guided by it to perceive the images. And because of that, you can see more clearly and better with one than the other. But get eye exams regularly to clear the doubt: sometimes, a blurry image can be a symptom of a problem or age-related changes.

It’s very likely that you can lift your left eyebrow or both at the same time, but you can’t do the same with just your right. It is also possible that the opposite occurs: the right eyebrow rises, but the other does not.

Explanation: our nerves and muscles aren’t very symmetrical, so some things we do better with one half of the body than the other.

Some people can lift each individual eyebrow, but this is extremely rare.

British ace Dele Alli does tricks with his hands that almost no one else can. One of them is exactly the ‘binoculars’ with only one hand. His Instagram followers try to imitate him, posting their photos with the hashtag #DeleAlliChallenge — something like #ChallengeDeleAlli.

Explanation: these tricks are easy for kids to do because they have flexible fingers and young joints. While it is easy for adults to ‘monocular’, few people can do binoculars using all 4 fingers.

Many birthmarks disappear within the first few years of life, but some remain forever. And they are most often found in the armpit, near the back or beside the knee, on the inside of the thighs.

Explanation: here, the answer has nothing to do with small domestic accidents. One in 10 people is born with a brand. Most of those that remain visible on the skin for a lifetime form on the side of the armpit or leg. Although the reasons for this are still unclear.
