In each session, the focus is restricted to just one area of ​​the body – in my case, this time, we worked the quadriceps. With eight electrostimulation points attached to the front of my thighs, I did leg presses, leg extensions and isometric squats without much weight. As I applied force to the machines, the Compex contracted my fibers, enhancing muscle recruitment. Even when I was resting between one set and another, the device was still activated, making the rest also active. “This gain in lean mass is essential to avoid injuries and even improve performance in sports”, guarantees André.
