Living room

The living room is a very important environment, as it is where we meet with family, friends, where we relax after a tiring day. Stickers can help create a really cool ambiance. You can use fun phrases or a design that matches you and the furniture in the room. “For rooms and homes, we can be a little daring, putting some images or film plots, plotting some drawing, if it is a toy library, for example.” – suggests Livia.

bedroom

The bedroom is the most personal part of the house, it’s the best place to print all your personality on stickers and decor. The designs are very beautiful in the rooms, you can play with the architecture and the furniture. There are stickers that simulate a headboard on the bed, it’s very creative! But, it’s good to avoid large stickers that have very vibrant colors, as it can get tiring and disturb your sleep. A cool tip for those who share a room, like siblings, is to use different types of stickers on the side of each one of the room, so that each one can leave their own corner with their face.

Kitchen

A type of adhesive widely used in kitchens is hydraulic tile, those little tiles. They are great for relaxing in the kitchen, you can use different designs, it’s a very beautiful and colorful assembly. Lívia suggests using blackboard stickers, as you can write and draw, like on a blackboard. The cool thing is that you can erase and draw again and write messages to the other residents of the house.

In the bathroom it’s nice to play with the environment, to think beyond the walls, the sticker of the glass shower is very interesting, or even in the mirror, with some phrase or the simulation of a frame. It is good to opt for a stronger adhesive, such as vinyl, as there is a lot of humidity in the bathroom and it is a place that will need more care and maintenance. Lívia also reminds us that to adhere environments such as the bathroom and the kitchen, where ceramics are usually used, it is important to level the grout part with the ceramic so that the adhesive is straight, she indicates the use of acrylic putty for leveling.

The most important thing, more than any trend tip, is to think about your personality when choosing the sticker. It’s no use being a beautiful sticker if it doesn’t suit you.

Wall sticker x paper x fabric

Wall stickers are more practical and much cheaper. They can be applied in different formats, but are usually not used to cover the entire wall, it is more common to be used in a more specific way in decoration, with drawings or texts, for example. The ideal, in this case, would be to opt for wallpaper or wallpaper.

Wallpapers are more traditional and the application is a little more complex than that of stickers. Still, they can be applied by yourself without much difficulty. Just be careful not to get air bubbles. Maintenance is done only with cleaning, vacuuming or mopping weekly and a slightly damp cloth sometimes.

Wall fabrics, on the other hand, have a greater durability, however, the application is more complicated than paper and adhesive. For cleaning, use only a vacuum, duster or a dry cloth. Fabrics are not suitable for humid environments, as the glue does not adhere properly in this case.
