Science & Origin of Trolleit

Trolleite is an extremely rare aluminum phosphate mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses and small prismatic crystals. It is commonly found as an inclusion in quartz, along with similar minerals such as scorzalite and lazulite. The mineral was originally found in Sweden in 1868 and named after the famous chemist and Attorney General Hans Gabriel Trolle-Wachtmeister. Originally it was thought that Trolleit was found only in its type locality (first locality), but over the course of the 20th century more and more occurrences were uncovered. One of the largest and most important trolleite veins in the mineral community comes from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. Large deep blue inclusions of trolleite in huge masses of quartz are found from this locality. This had led to trolleit becoming increasingly common in the mineral community simply for its ability to be cut, shaped, polished and worn as jewelry.

Meaning & Energy

Trolleite and its sister minerals (scorzalite and lazulite) are all stones that activate your upper chakra system and encourage a divine connection between you and your higher self.
