Titanic survivor assures that an iceberg did not destroy the ship

We all know from books and movies that the Titanic sank due to the collision with an iceberg. But there is some evidence recently obtained that the disaster may have occurred for other reasons. According to these indications, explosions and fires occurred on board, which may have been the main cause of the best-known maritime catastrophe in history. And that, of course, would completely change what we know about the case.

The Incredible.club did his own research and verified the evidence that could prove that the Titanic may have sunk due to explosions.

Survivor Vaghinak Byurat never mentioned an iceberg

Vaghinak Byurat was an intellectual born on the Turkish-Armenian border, lived in Rome and Paris and knew several countries, a rare thing in his time. At the time he boarded the Titanic, he was living in Constantinople (now Istanbul). Byurat planned to do business in America, so he bought a ticket to cross the Atlantic on the famous ship.

He survived and saw the Titanic sink with his own eyes. But his version is different from the more accepted one, that of the iceberg. Chahen Khachatourian, director of the National Gallery of Arts of Armenia, met Byurat and interviewed him in person. He later wrote about the story of what happened on the ship. Byurat lived for many years and often spoke about the sinking of the Titanic. The most interesting thing was that he never mentioned the supposed iceberg. But he always spoke of an explosion that would have led to the accident.

This testimony would likely have been ignored if the same version had not been told by other survivors as well.

What other survivors saw during the crash

These survivors claimed that there were two to four explosions on the ship. No wonder people, paralyzed with panic, could have distorted history. Author Bill Wormstedt, author of two books on the tragedy, also identified some evidence of the explosions in interviews he conducted with survivors. The stories told by Bill may convince many people to see the shipwreck in another way.

Titanic lifeboats heading for the Carpathia boat, the first to reach the wreck site

Commander Arthur G.🇧🇷 Peuchen, who was a first-class passenger, categorically stated that he heard an explosion, and after that, the boat began to sink. George Frederick Crowe, a lifeboat assistant, in his interview said that there had been an explosion, and then the stern (back) began to rise and the vessel finally sank.

But we still want to know if there is more evidence that the Titanic sank due to an explosion!

Investigators say the passengers could have survived, but the Titanic sank due to a massive fire.

At that time, Titanic’s engineers were not yet aware of the risks of electrolysis, which can turn seawater into explosive hydrogen gas. John Wickman concluded, in his book Titanic, the hidden evidence, that the members of the on-board team made a serious mistake: they kept the lights on, which may have caused the explosions🇧🇷 Had they not done so, the Titanic might have just kept afloat and the passengers might have survived.

Wichman believes the first explosion occurred between 1:10 am and 1:20 am. After that, according to him, there was another explosion, this one stronger, and that would have split the vessel in two, the main reason for the catastrophe.

The accident, like many sea and air tragedies, did not occur due to a single factor, but due to several small failures and misfortunes combined, as journalist Senan Molony, who spent 30 years investigating the wreck, showed. Molony came to the conclusion that “fire, ice and criminal negligence” were the causes of the disaster.

But even so, experts confirm that there was a fire that started in the fuel warehouse on the third floor behind one of the vessel’s boiler rooms. Many passengers heard a frightening sound, and after that, the Titanic began to sink immediately.

What do you believe was the real reason behind the sinking of the Titanic? In your opinion, what measures could have been adopted to prevent the sinking? Write your comments and share your opinion with us!
