Vanessa says that she went to visit a shelter where the children lived in Alto Araguaia, in the state of Mato Grosso to make donations and fell in love with them.

The singer, who has a very private personal life, posted on her social media how it was to adopt the three brothers at once. She confessed to wanting to be able to adopt more and spoke about the lack of conditions in shelters to deal with these children who are lacking in everything, from affection and attention to material goods.

Vanessa also highlighted the need to end the prejudice of welcoming older children: “I told my friends who live in the United States that I was going to adopt and they made a dinner to toast. In Brazil, people told me not to do that. It was disappointing.”
