It is best to do it with caution (mask and gloves) and do not let household pets or children get close to it. Lavender

Lavender is a natural repellent for these annoying insects. You can apply a couple of drops of lavender essential oil to the corners where silverfish appear or mix it with water in a spray and spray it on larger areas.
