Prayer to pass the year is recommended for students with difficulties

School, college, postgraduate, competition… Student life brings several challenges and a huge load of new knowledge. If you are having difficulty or insecurity, prayer to pass the new year it can be a way to ask for help and promote spiritual cleansing. When reading the message of faith, it is recommended to look for a quiet place, where you can feel relaxed and comfortable.

What is the name of the saint who helps you with your studies?

Saint Joseph of Cupertino (1603 – 1663) is the patron saint of students with difficulties. Born in Italy, he felt the call to religious life and the priesthood, but he had great difficulty learning and was illiterate. When it came to testing, he asked Our Lady for help. After praying to be guided in an oral test, for example, he was asked to explain precisely the only excerpt from the Gospel that he, in fact, knew: “Blessed are the bowels that brought you”. In this way, he managed to become a priest.

“Dear Saint Joseph of Cupertino, purify my heart, transform it and make it similar to yours. Instill in me your fervor, your wisdom and your faith. Show your kindness by helping me and I will strive to imitate your virtues.

Kind protector of mine, study is often difficult, hard and boring for me. You can make all of this easier and more enjoyable. Just wait for my call. I promise you a greater effort in my studies and a life more worthy of your holiness.

God, who wanted to attract everything to your only begotten Son, who was crucified, allow that, through the merits and examples of your seraphic Joseph, we deserve to reach Him, who lives and reigns with you forever and ever.
Amen.”

Prayer to Saint Catherine for students

Santa Catarina (287 – 305) is also considered the patron saint of students, as well as philosophers and teachers. In Alexandria (Egypt), she angered the Roman emperor Maximino Daia, who persecuted Christians, by stating that his God was the only one and his king was Jesus Christ. The emperor became frustrated, arrested and tortured her, ordering her to be beheaded.

“Saint Catherine of Alexandria, who had an intelligence blessed by God, open my intelligence, make me understand the class subjects, give me clarity and calm during exams, so that I can pass.

I always want to learn more, not out of vanity, not just to please my family and teachers, but to be useful to myself, my family, society and my homeland.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria, I’m counting on you. You can also count on me. I want to be a good Christian to deserve your protection. Amen.”

who does good without presumption, who corrects others without arrogance, who admits his correction without pride;
