Life tends to bring many challenges and, in some of them, the feeling that there are no solutions or support may arise. How to pray in difficult times?

Prayer for moments of despair

“God, almighty, help me in this hour of distress and despair.

Intercede for me in this hour of total despair!

Out of charity, Lord, free me from these obtuse thoughts, which hurt my soul and make me want to commit foolishness.

I fulfilled my request (place the order now, with great faith).

Help me to overcome these difficult times, protect me from everyone who could harm me.

I protected my family and all my loved ones, including those people I don’t know and, especially, those I don’t like.

It is believed that all messages in the Bible have the power to promote spiritual cleansing and attract inner peace. But each text is usually linked to a specific subject. Psalm 116, for example, is very suitable for relieving anguish and affliction:
