Pilots adopted a bear that couldn’t live in the wild, and he got used to airport life

At the Oreshkovo airfield in Russia lives a very unusual inhabitant: a bear named Mansur. He appeared on the track 3 years ago. According to the pilots, he kept looking at the planes and decided to stay. Shortly thereafter, Mansur became a celebrity. Today, he has a space just for him, a super popular Instagram account and a lot of affection from people who come from different parts of the world to see him.

We, from awesome.club, we were moved by this story and therefore decided to share it with you. She is a good example that it is possible for there to be love between humans and animals.

Nobody knows how this little bear appeared on the territory of the Orlovka airfield in the Tver region. He was alone, without his mother, and he looked very confused. Maybe some hunter killed his parents and abandoned him near the place, but that’s just a hypothesis.

Seeing the puppy, the pilots decided to help him. The little bear was named Mansur, which means “bear” in the Altai dialect. The pilot who found Mansur, Andrey Ivanov, became his “foster father”.

The animal could not be taken back into the forest because it was too small and would surely die. Quickly, he became the main attraction of the airfield. People loved to hug him and he responded with the same dose of affection.

Mansur always liked to play with the tools and became very friendly with the dog of one of the pilots.

But time has passed and the time has come to think about your future. He lived for a long time among human beings and, therefore, he was not afraid of people, he liked to kiss and hug. Therefore, returning it to the wild would be quite complicated. Furthermore, zoos said they did not have the resources to care for one more bear.

As the pilots called the zoos, they got hold of people who understood bears and who helped them with feeding. In addition, they received help from veterinarians specializing in the Mansur species.

After many attempts, the pilots found the right person: she promised that the bear would live in a reserve and would be treated very well.

The pilots were very saddened by the idea of separation, but they knew that this was necessary for Mansur. However, the suspicion that something would go wrong was realized.

Andrey and the other riders didn’t like the new people who came to take care of Mansur, as they arrived and put him in a cage in a very cold way.

A short time later, Andrey and his colleagues decided to visit Mansur, but the visit was not allowed. The people who adopted him did their best to make the meeting impossible. This forced the pilots to take some measures. After a serious investigation, they discovered that Mansur had been taken to a hunting dog entertainment centre. When they discovered this, they quickly went to the place to save their friend.

When they were approaching the place, they heard their friend. In addition, they heard how he frantically scratched the iron bars of the cage. The pilots began to call the animal by name, and he was silent. When the cage was opened, Mansur jumped into Andrey’s arms and began to greet the other riders with great joy.

The bear was fragile and the fur was quite ugly. They took him to shower — he loves to swim. After eating, the animal stood in front of the owner of the place, as if he wanted to say: “I’m not angry, but I’m going away”. On the way back, he didn’t stop looking back through the window.

After that experience, the pilots decided that they would not leave Mansur with anyone else. He was taken to a larger airfield, at Oreshkovo, in the Kaluga region. They studied ways to keep a bear in captivity and enlisted the support of experts. Andrey, the “daddy”, even studied the basics of zoopsychology.

Mansur received a new home. His cage was built outdoors with money from donations from many parts of the world. Today, he lives in a very large area and has a normal life.

The “aviurso” turned into a real streamer and his life can be seen live on social media.

People from different countries visit Mansur every day. If you are interested, just contact their owners.

Mansur’s joy in being with the pilots who saved his life is enormous and that’s why, for him, these pilots are his true family.
