When I entered, I didn’t know if there were already people inside or not. So much so that when everyone appeared on my television, I saw that people already had two photos. Then I realized that I had entered the middle of the game”.

“I was crazy to talk to them, but I was forbidden, because they remained confined until the end of the program. They couldn’t do much, even if they left early. Those were inside another apartment, or in a hotel, because they couldn’t get much information from outside,” she said.

Gio further revealed that she only got to meet the participants on the day of the final, when they all gathered. They didn’t even know who would host the show. “It was a surprise for everyone,” she added.

Even without being able to communicate with the participants, Gio followed the day to day of the participants and even snooped around their apartment (when they went out to visit the gym or the hot tub).

“I saw during the reality, that people stumble on their own lies,” he said. “The apartments were full of notes, like ‘I said I went to the United States’, ‘I said I like volleyball’. Everything so they don’t forget, because they talk to nine people every day,” he added.

Speaking of gym and hot tub… how did the production manage to ensure that participants didn’t cross paths in common spaces and hallways? JP explained that the times were planned.

“Any displacement was done with the production, which put earmuffs and blindfolds on our eyes until we reached the destination”, said the participant.
