Prayer for now

“Thank you, God, for this moment that I am living in, in which I can be full of myself.

I thank you for the functioning of my entire being. I am grateful for every cell, for every piece of me that works for my body to fulfill its function. Thank you for the air that currently enters my lungs and for my beating heart.

Thank you, God, for all the sensations that surround me at this moment and for now being able to be here, dedicating myself to listening, seeing and feeling with greater attention.

I thank you for everything that is around me. People, animals, the universe.

I am grateful for the sun, the rain, the birdsong.

Thank you for the noise and also for the silence. Thank you for the light and the dark; for the sweet and the bitter.
I ask that I can feel the peace and happiness that exists in every detail of this moment that I am living and that I can plant love, peace, energy, wisdom, good feelings and that all of this brings a contribution to the good of the universe.

Thank you for being here and now and for being able to feel how powerful the energy of the universe is and that with it I can intensely vibrate my present. I am present. I am present. I am energy. I am life.”

Prayer to live in the present

“Teach me, Lord, to love this minute that I am living now, this day today, which is the only one I have; to give myself to him without thinking about who has passed or who is to come.

Teach me to consecrate myself to the present moment as if it were the primary and exclusive objective of my life; to love each hour, humbly, without pause and without rush, fully savoring all its content and all its richness.

Teach me, Lord, to insert the entirety of my being into each task, however insignificant it may be, as if I were creating a work of art exclusively to please You, magnify Your glory and sing Your praise.

Teach me to live each minute with a vibration of eternity, to do what I must and be fully in what I do out of love, so that, in the last minute of my life, I can exclaim, imbued with Your peace: Lord, in your hands I surrender my spirit.”
