Are you always dwelling on the past or worried about the future? A prayer for now It is known for its power to connect people with the present moment. It is believed to have the power to bring spiritual cleansing, peace of mind, strength and faith. It can be done at any time and day of the week, believing in what you can achieve.

What is today’s prayer?

Look for a quiet place where you can concentrate without being interrupted. If you want, prepare the environment with a candle and/or incense. Sit comfortably and try to calm down by taking deep, conscious breaths. Read the prayer for now with gratitude and faith:

“Thank you, God, for this moment that I am living in, in which I can be full of myself.

I thank you for the functioning of my entire being. I am grateful for every cell, for every piece of me that works for my body to fulfill its function. Thank you for the air that currently enters my lungs and for my beating heart.

Thank you, God, for all the sensations that surround me at this moment and for now being able to be here, dedicating myself to listening, seeing and feeling with greater attention.

I thank you for everything that is around me. People, animals, the universe.

I am grateful for the sun, the rain, the birdsong.

Thank you for the noise and also for the silence. Thank you for the light and the dark; for the sweet and the bitter.

Prayer to live in the present

“Teach me, Lord, to love this minute that I am living now, this day today, which is the only one I have; to give myself to him without thinking about who has passed or who is to come.

Teach me to consecrate myself to the present moment as if it were the primary and exclusive objective of my life; to love each hour, humbly, without pause and without rush, fully savoring all its content and all its richness.

What does Psalm 46 say?
