Naldo has the beginning of necrosis after rhinomodelation. What is the procedure? – GOOD SHAPE

Recently, Naldo Benny underwent rhinomodelation, a technique that uses hyaluronic acid to fill in the nose.

Due to the procedure, the singer ended up suffering a principle of necrosis. Last Saturday, November 26, he appeared on Instagram Stories with a bruised nose and spoke about the situation.

“I had a nose procedure that didn’t look good. I have to go now quickly to catch a flight to São Paulo. I was really worried. I had a complication in the procedure, which can happen. It ended up happening to me, but I’m already being very well assisted, ”she said.

To deal with the complication, during this week, he said he is undergoing treatment in the hyperbaric chamber and taking medication.

“Thank God, I was able to work out again. In the treatment, I have to take an anticoagulant in the belly, which I’ve been taking for a few days now, and there are some other pills too”, he reported.

What is rhinomodelation?

From the use of hyaluronic acid, rhinomodelation is able to give volume to the nose and change its shape. The result of this procedure is temporary.

According to doctor William Scheibela physician specializing in otorhinolaryngology with a focus on rhinoplasty and a member of the Brazilian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, rhinomodelation complications, when they occur, are considered severe.

“When done wrong, it can cause skin necrosis much more often than rhinoplasty surgery,” he says.

In addition to necrosis, the procedure also involves other risks, according to Dr. Katia Blume, dental surgeon specializing in cosmetic dentistry – resin contact lenses. “The development of edema with infections in the nose can also happen”.

To treat complications, the specialist says it is essential to undergo a medical evaluation, since the approaches vary according to each case. “Antibiotics or anti-inflammatories may be prescribed to contain infections. In serious situations, such as necrosis, it is necessary to remove the necrotic tissues and reconstruct the skin, ”she reports.
