They don’t care to please others, but to feel happy.

Most people aged 24-39 are constantly connected to the Internet (and, unfortunately, obsessive cell phone use can become a major health hazard), feel addicted to social media likes, and sometimes prefer communication virtual to real. You millennials don’t let go of their smartphones for fear of missing out on something important (this is a phenomenon called “FoMO”). Approximately 70% of them check their cell phone every hour.

Also, wanting to show that they live a better life than the one they actually live, they keep posting selfies with a smile on your face, even when things don’t go well.

The two traits mentioned above (inability to find one’s place in the world and dependence on Internet approval) often lead to anxiety and depression. The “avocado generation” uses all available resources to express their individuality. Giving up the 8-hour working day, they create new professions. For example, they become influencers and earn money from linked advertising on their Instagram profiles. It is worth mentioning that they stand out for avoiding repeating what others do and for dictating new rules of the game today.

Many millennials choose to stay away from political discussions, are more concerned with their own lives and position themselves on political issues by trusting the opinion of others.

Generation Y was the originator of the body positivity movement, which inspires everyone. It also respects diversity of race, nationality, religion and point of view.
