Mother, you don’t know how much I love you and will love you. I’m trying, I assure you, but I’m not able to express everything that comes to my heart when I think of you. You are a great woman, full of titles that you do not boast of, and so strong that you can do everything before something takes away the happiness of those you love most.

When I was a child I thought you were some kind of superhero, that was a long time ago…, but today I am fully convinced that you are. Titled in love, in every moment you have taken care of my wounds on my knees and in my hearthealing all my pain with your kisses.

Mother, you were my nanny, my nurse, my confessor, my teacher of life, my eternal companion… You have always known how to seal my worries and worries, one day you will tell me how you acquired that great skill, because Being your daughter is a great privilege. and I want my children to feel the same.

Mother, you are strong

Although sometimes you feel defeated, I see in your eyes that the battles of everyday life and of life have never broken you. I also know that they will never do it again because your bravery and your strength have helped raise a family, that has immense power.

Why am I so sure? For many reasons but, among others, because You’ve spent years forging swords and shields for the whole family. with the hardest and purest of steel and now you have a great army that will always protect your heart.

Your love is the reason why I don’t settle for anything, that I always want more and that I need to relearn how to look at life with each sunset. You have preached by your example the most important values ​​that I have today and that I will always keep.: to love with all my heart, to have one hand to give and another to receive, to be humble and feel proud of myself and my family.

You have fought against wind and tide, you have calmed the most sinister storms and although I have hurt you with my indifference or my unconsciousness, I have always had a place to shelter halfway between your heart and your arms.

Today I thank you

Thanks to you today I know that my achievements belong to me and that my dreams have no expiration date. And the smaller I have felt, the more you have snuggled me, filling with your kisses the void that despair caused. Thank you for being patient when it comes to making me see my mistakes and for having that superhuman strength with which you always manage to unload my back so that it does not suffer.

Because you have learned to do everything with one hand, because you have “asleep” with one eye open until you heard that I was coming home after a night of partying, because you gave me your piece of cake, because you learned the names of hundreds of dolls, because You have had the patience to get to know me until you know what I think and feel.
