Black eye at night is a classic. But there’s a way out of the same as always: instead of a very smoky shadow, it’s worth using a pencil just around the eyes. “An illuminator on the upper eyelids and in the inner corner of the eyes makes the look smoother”, explains Paulo Filatier, makeup artist from São Paulo. In the mouth, neither pink nor red: go with cherry. Check out the 4 steps to get there:

1st step

Use the black pencil on the waterline (the inner edge of the eyelid) and close to the upper lashes, as if it were an eyeliner. Smoke out.

2nd step

A pearly beige or light brown shadow should be applied to the inner corner of the eyes, forming a letter C, very close to the black pencil.

3rd step

Blush should be neutral, preferably brown and dull, and it gives depth to the face. Apply it diagonally from the temples to the corner of the lips.

4th step

Using colorful lipstick is no easy task. Paulo teaches a trick: pass the tip of a lip pencil (any color) on the chosen lipstick and outline the lips. It is imperceptible and the mouth is perfectly symmetrical.
