Almost everyone has experienced or heard about the famous ironies of fate. These are situations that show that our actions cannot always be controlled or predicted. Such unexpected events do not only happen in movies, but also in our daily lives. Therefore, some Internet users decided to share their life stories, which are not only surprising, but simply unbelievable.

In preparing the selection below, we at awesome.club, we repeat the sentence a few times: “That is not possible!” So we want to share these extraordinary stories with you, which wouldn’t be so much fun if it weren’t for the fantastic “coincidence” of the universe. When I was little, my parents took me to visit our relatives in a big city. We went for a walk in the main square, and that’s where I first saw that machine for picking up stuffed animals. I only had 50 cents in my pocket. I put the coin in and, luckily, I managed to catch a little bug. After that, I asked my mother for another 50 cents… That day, I managed to get 25 stuffed animals from the machine. The event was held in the open, in a huge area with no trees. At the end of the day, when most of the guests had left, the other staff and I were packing up to leave. For 2 years, I couldn’t meet with a friend from high school. Sometimes he was working, other times I was busy. And in 2010, I decided to travel around Europe. We arrived first in Paris and stayed for a week. We went to different museums, took pictures. One day, leaving the Louvre, we were waiting for the guide outside near the pyramid, and suddenly… this friend of mine appeared. He walked up to me and said, “Oops, how are you? As a kid, I went to a hockey game with my family. We were enjoying the game and all of a sudden my dad proposed that I go with him to buy warm pretzels. I obviously agreed and we went together. I took my Sprite bottle with me. As we were returning, we no longer remembered which row we were sitting in. My father said it was the 16th, but I insisted it was the 15th. For some reason, I was sure. We went to row 15, but I was wrong. To avoid going around the entire stadium to get to the other side, we decided to be those inconveniences that pass between people sitting in order to get to the other side faster. I put my Sprite bottle against my belly and we passed in front of people. Suddenly, I noticed that my bottle was on the floor, cut in half, and I was full of Sprite all over my body, as was the girl next to me. It took me a while to understand what had happened. What happened was that one of the players hit the ball, which bounced off the protective glass and somehow made its way towards the audience, hitting the exact middle of my soda bottle. If she hadn’t been there, the ball would have hit me squarely in the stomach. And if we had gone to the other row from the beginning, the ball would have hit the girl behind me in the face. I’m in Savastopol, near the church bell. Too bad you’re not here, the city is really nice”. At that, I replied: “You just call me and I’ll come”. And I walked to that bell, which was 100 m away from me. As I approached, I heard my friend shout: “Vitor!” I wanted to surprise him, but another mutual friend, Vitor, found him first. Then I found out that he had studied and lived in Russia for 9 years and had not spoken Russian to anyone for 28 years. However, I decided it would be better to throw the sweater off the bedroom door and try to hit the chair. Like magic, the sweater landed perfectly on the back of the chair and didn’t fall off. We were getting ready to go home from another city. We took a while to leave, as my mother-in-law, as usual, kept asking questions and chatting. We left a few minutes late. I was really upset because I don’t like delays for silly reasons. When we were halfway there, we noticed that there was a traffic accident. Afterwards, we discovered that a car was traveling at 140 km/h and collided head-on with a Corolla, minutes before the time we passed by that place. When I was about to leave, we were notified of the delivery of my piano, which my parents had bought for me. I was studying at a conservatory and I was too excited to “leave it for later” and so I decided not to visit my grandmother to test the new toy. My father is an excellent driver, but during the trip he had an accident. Fortunately, he managed to save himself, but I still remember the photo of the car after the accident: the vehicle completely destroyed, except for the driver’s seat. At the end of each shift, I had to hang the keys on a hook on the wall. Every time I entered the room, I tried to throw the keys away to see if they landed on the hook, but it never worked and they fell to the floor. One day, I finished my shift a little early and all the supervisors were still in the office. I tried to throw the keys again, and this time they fit neatly into the hook. Everyone was surprised by that and my supervisor said: “I bet you can’t do that again.” I took the keys off the hook, backed away, and again hit the hook.
