I’m a better man when I’m with you

When I’m with you, I become a much better guy than I ever thought I would be. I have the impression that everything that was gray gets a special color. The green of the grass looks brighter, I don’t get irritated so easily anymore.

The traffic noise doesn’t even affect my ears anymore, until giving way in the double line has happened. My dog, who used to be sad because of my lack of attention, now seems to love me ten times more, he must be thinking about me the most. I don’t wake up as grumpy as I haven’t been for a long time. Who would have thought that even the bakery’s uncle who always took my order wrong… we became good friends, he even asked me for help buying a gift to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary.

The sky, the sky… Ah! This one I’m sure gets bluer when I see your good morning message on my cell phone. In the circle with friends, the difference is obvious, I’m not grumpy like I used to be, even when my team loses, I’m in a good mood. The “complaint” seems to have taken a while after you showed up here.

At work, I’m more malleable, the reports are poorly finished, I swear they’re not even making me ‘bald’ anymore with so much worry. Even that customer who made my stomach turn. Even “the crybaby” discount is winning. At home I’m a new guy, more attentive, even helping to wash the dishes for Sunday lunch I’ve been practicing.

When the hands are at 00:00, my conversations with God are being more lasting, my prayers are deeper, our relationship is closer. For days I feel him with his hand on my shoulder, tears generate a mixture of gratitude and happiness. In our conversations you are also there, because you are the biggest reason for this change, you are not only in my requests, but in my thanks, I am very grateful to Him for having put you in my path, like a little angel, sent by him to be an instrument of change in my life.

You were not a blessing in my life, you were the complete miracle. When I met you, along with your beauty, came the fame of a girl at the time who wanted to change the world. Today I understand that maybe, the whole world you still can’t change, I don’t even know if the world deserves your light… Ahead, I realized that the woman you have become has the power to change the world around those who have the privilege of live with her. The privilege of having her sweet smile change life, people, and everything around her. Really! Believe me. You managed to fulfill your childhood dream: Change the world. You turned mine.
