“I Love and Respect Who You Are”, the story of Matt Bomer and his family, whose love is above all things

The enthusiastic teenager ended up leaving his Texas hometown to pursue a career in acting. He participated in the famous theater program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

By acquiring a new set of classic acting skills, Bomer also reinvented himself and came to terms with his sexuality. Friends of his supported him in his quest to achieve widespread acceptance. His family, however, took a little longer to choose love over their beliefs, but in the end they accepted him.

In 2012, Bomer’s sexual orientation became public and he married the love of his life. The actor described the small ceremony in New York as a very relaxed event. For him, exchanging vows in front of an audience that supports and loves them unconditionally was a joyful and beneficial event for his family.

Simon Halls was the one who won the actor’s heart. He is a well-known publicist and works with celebrities such as Neil Patrick Harris and Jude Law to get their names in the media. But for a long time, the couple kept their relationship a secret.

Kit, Walker and Henry are the names of Bomer and Hall’s three children. Kit is 17 and his twin brothers Henry and Walker are 14. They were all born via surrogacy. In a 2008 interview, Halls expressed his joy at being a father. According to him, the parents of Kit’s friends were not shocked to learn that they were expecting twins through surrogacy.

A few years later, Bomer pointed out that, regardless of the circumstances, he wanted his children to enjoy an ordinary childhood, like his own. Instead, his focus is on giving his kids his undivided attention and doing a good job as a father, which means spending more time with the boys.

During an interview on RuPaul’s talk show, the Magic Mike actor spoke about a recent conversation with his 14-year-old son, Kit. Bomer revealed that their son came out as straight to them at that age. “He said, ‘I love and respect who you are. I’m straight, that’s how I identify myself’. And it was a great, nice, sweet moment,” Bomer said at the time.

Of her twins, Henry and Walker, then 11, Bomer said: “We’ll be there with open arms, regardless of their sexual orientation.”

Halls was thrilled that her husband cared so much about the family and it made him proud to be Bomer’s partner. And the actor really works hard to make the marriage work. According to The Normal Heart star, his grandparents are his example of a happy marriage.

And the grandparents’ secret, Bomer said, was to take one day at a time. That was the main thing that kept his love for Halls strong. They also put their family’s happiness and safety first, which makes them a couple to look up to.
