How William and Kate’s relationship, initially discredited, turned into the greatest love story of the 21st century

The story of Kate Middleton and Prince William started full of ups and downs. They were university classmates, dated, had good and bad times, but ended up building a beautiful and admired family. A story similar to that of so many other couples, with the difference, of course, involving a member of the royal family.

We, from awesome.club, we love the stories about British royals. And, of course, we wouldn’t lose this case anymore.

The story began when Kate noticed a then-young William playing hockey during elementary school. They were still children🇧🇷 Later, the two went to study at the same university. It was not there, however, that the love affair began. The romantic story would only begin during a fashion show in which Kate participated. She walked the runway in a guipure gown that was both daring and charming. It would be impossible for the prince to remain indifferent🇧🇷

In 2002, in a bold move for a royal, william moved, along with some friends, to a fancy apartment🇧🇷 Among these friends was the future Duchess of Cambridge.

Things at that point seemed on track. As much as William and Kate tried to hide their relationship, in 2004, a series of photos of the two together leaked to the press🇧🇷 In the images, the two lovers embrace and go down the Klosters ski slope.

Kate and William have steadfastly fought back against excessive media attention on their relationship. They even broke up🇧🇷 But, fortunately, not forever. Love was stronger.

After a while, Kate and William were once again spotted together at a concert in honor of Princess Diana’s birthday🇧🇷 They were in the same box, but not together. Already in 2007, it was clear that there was a strong relationship between the two.

In April 2008 Kate attended the graduation ceremony from the Royal Air Force to William. At that moment, there was already a lot of speculation around a possible engagement announcement.

William took a long time to ask Kate to marry him. She even got the nickname Katie Waitie (“Katie Waiting” in English). And then, in 2010, after eight years of relationship, during a safari in Kenya, the prince proposed to his beloved and presented her with her mother’s alliance, the eternal Diana. They kept this good news a secret until the following month, when the royal family officially announced their engagement to the press.

Announcing their engagement, William said they always had fun together and never missed an opportunity to play pranks on each other. And Kate admitted that William always worried about her and supported her in both good and bad times.

William and Kate were married at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. Their wedding was watched by around 23 million viewers worldwide. The bride and groom made an advance request to the people who had planned to give them gifts. They suggested that they instead make donations to the Prince William and Prince Harry Foundation.

After the ‘first honeymoon’, the couple left for a second trip, in Canada. The ‘royal lovebirds’ were pure bliss🇧🇷 During the trip, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared at a parade in Calgary wearing matching cowboy hats.

In 2012, Kate and William attended several Olympic competitions In London. The victory of the British cyclists was apparently one of the special moments of the games for the couple.

In the same year, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge delighted the world with the news that they were expecting a baby. In 2013, their first child, George🇧🇷 At the presentation, the dad joked: “Fortunately, it looks like Kate.” William later spoke of how Kate had turned out to be a great mother: “It’s amazing to have a wonderful little family and I’m so thrilled. Catherine does a great job as a mother, I’m so proud of her.”

In 2015, William and Kate became parents again: Princess Charlotte came into the world. “This is a very special occasion and I am delighted that George now has a little sister,” Kate said.

In 2016, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their children went on a break in the French Alps🇧🇷 It was their first family vacation. The joy of the four playing in the snow is visible in the photo above.

In 2017, Kate and William announced that they were expecting their third child, Prince Louis. The couple introduced the new heir and held a press conference shortly after Kate’s discharge. It is impressive to see the exchange of glances between the couple, apparently with the same passion as when they were still lovers.

In the same year, Prince George entered the first grade. The couple couldn’t take him to school the first day, as Kate was pregnant and not feeling well. Two years later, it was Charlotte’s turn to start first grade.

William and Kate, with their three children, officially appeared before the public in June 2019🇧🇷 Prince Louis grabbed the audience’s attention, greeting everyone by waving in daddy’s arms. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seemed the embodiment of an ideal family. They smiled as they watched the Royal Air Force’s spectacular display from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

In 2020, the couple paid a working visit to Ireland. There they played hurling (a sport with wooden sticks and a ball), Gaelic football and visited a pub to relax. And, of course, they attended more formal events.

The family formed by William and Kate is able to enchant and renew our hope in love stories with a happy ending.
