How is the cast of the famous series “How I Met Your Mother” currently

The series that best portrayed young adults of the 2000s, How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) left fans with a lot of nostalgia and, on top of that, an eternal competition with Friends fans. Discussions aside, HIMYM has a spin-off series, How I Met Your Father, scheduled to premiere in January 2022.

One thing is undeniable, How I Met Your Mother won dozens of awards and nominations, thanks to the eccentric humor script and, above all, to a cast that marked a generation. By the way, have you ever stopped to think what the actors who played our favorite characters are doing today?

O awesome.club accepted the challenge, in the best Barney Stinson style, and investigated the whereabouts of the most remarkable actors in the series for you to miss you!

Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby)

We couldn’t start with a character other than Ted, the irritatingly romantic nerd played by Josh Radnor. After the series ended, Josh developed a music project with Ben Lee, in which he could compose and sing. In addition, he participated in other series and is currently in the production Hunters, in which an actor specialized in disguises will live. He even made an appearance on the acclaimed Grey’s Anatomy, in which he had a date with Meredith!

Jason Segel (Marshall Eriksen)

Older comedy fans already knew Jason even before his debut as Ted’s best friend in 2005. That’s because he was already an established actor in film and TV, having Freaks And Geeks, Lies and Hurts and CSI on his resume. . With the series ending, he ventured into other areas, such as the Nightmares! children’s book series. As an actor, his most recent work, Windfall, has not yet premiered, but he has several films already released, such as the excellent O Amigo de Semper.

Cobie Smulders (Robin Scherbatsky)

The most attuned fans couldn’t stop recognizing the face of Ted’s Canadian girlfriend, even after the series ended. Cobie continues to have a famous career, with fixed roles in the series Friends From College and Stumptown, and participation in the new version of A Series of Unfortunate Events. In addition, she acts in several Marvel movies as Maria Hill, Nick Fury’s right-hand man. In the same role, she is credited in the cast of the series Secret Invasion, scheduled for 2022.

Neil Patrick Harris (Barney Stinson)

Neil is a multi-talented star. In addition to acting, he sings, dances, directs, produces, presents programs and even performs magic. He makes life a lot easier for his fans, appearing everywhere. After HIMYM he was in films like Gone Girl and Little Big Life, and had a prominent role in the series A Series of Unfortunate Events. To our delight, he will be in the new movie Matrix Resurrections, the fourth feature that takes up the franchise from the 2000s.

Alyson Hannigan (Lily Aldrin)

Alyson is also a comedy film veteran, well known for her role in the American Pie franchise. However, after the end of HIMYM, she had few appearances in film productions. She was, for example, in You Can Be the Killer and played Kim Possible’s mother in the eponymous feature film. Since 2016, she has been the host of a magic reality show called Penn & Teller: Fool Us, unavailable in Brazil.

Ashley Williams (Victoria)

Jennifer Morrison (Zoey)

Jennifer scored three successful series in a row. She lived Dr. Allison in House, then Zoey in HIMYM and, soon after, starred in Once Upon A Time, playing the character Emma Swan. She also voiced Catwoman in the animated Batman: Hush. This woman doesn’t stop! She is currently on the This Is Us series as Cassidy Sharp and even risked directing an episode of Euphoria.

Sarah Chalke (Stella Zinman)

Laura Prepon(Karen)

Laura collects outstanding papers. Before she even played Karen, she acted in another hit sitcom for 8 years, That ’70s Show, in which she played the redhead Donna Pinciotti. After HIMYM, she even played Alex Vause in Orange Is The New Black. But that’s not all, she even made some movies, like The Girl on the Train. However, her newest job doesn’t involve acting, but cooking! She has a YouTube cooking channel, a book and a cookware line.

Cristin Milioti (Tracy McConnell)

Best known to fans of the series as the girl with the yellow umbrella, Cristin has a solid career in musical theater. After HIMYM, she appeared in several series, and many recognized her in an episode of Black Mirror, the first of the fourth season, as Nanette. More recently, she has had two leading roles: in the movie Palm Springs and in the acid comedy series Made For Love, which you can watch on HBO Max.

Lyndsy Fonseca & David Henrie (Ted’s children)

Finally, Ted’s sons, who filmed scenes from all seasons at once, during the production of the first stage. This was done because they needed to look like teenagers throughout the series. Their names, Penny and Luke, are only revealed in the ninth season.
