How are the actors of “The Big Family” almost 20 years after its premiere

Imagine the story of a family beyond common: the Silvas. Father, mother, two children and a grandfather—all living together, with lots of love, comedy, and confusion. Nothing more Brazilian, right? In addition, many friends, neighbors and everyday controversies. By itself, that would be a huge source of inspiration.

This family came into our lives way back in 2001, so after 14 seasons and even one movie they left us. And to paraphrase the opening song, this was a very close-knit family, and also very edgy. They fought for whatever reason, but ended up asking for forgiveness.

A challenge: from television to cinema
