How are 11 celebrities who won the hearts of viewers in the 2000s

If lately there are many famous Brazilians for fans to be inspired by, in the 2000s it wasn’t that different. It was very common to see the artists featured on various covers of teen magazines, posters, toys, sticker albums, chewing gum and much more. And of course, many girls wanted to copy the looks of celebrities from that era.

Time passed and the awesome.club decided to recall the careers of some actresses who most attracted the attention of the Brazilian public in the early 2000s and how they are today. Will you be able to remember them all?

Before being Manu, protagonist of the 2006 season in Malhação, Luiza Valdetaro had participated as an extra in 2002 of the same series. Her last work in soap operas was in Joia Rara in 2013. The actress came to live in England for four years with her two daughters, Maria Luiza Valdetaro Blanco and Sophia Valdetaro Ferraz, but returned to Brazil in 2019, where she intends to resume with your career.

Malhação is the gateway to the career of many actresses and Joana Balaguer was no different. The actress, who many fans tend to point out as a look-alike of Daniella Cicarelli, made her debut in 2005 in the role of Jaqueline. Married to businessman Paulo Miguel, the actress has lived in Portugal since 2010, and together they have a couple of children: Martin and Gaia. His last work in Brazil was in 2012 in the telenovela Balacobaco. After that, Joana acted in the Portuguese telenovela Amor Maior in 2017.

Graziella began her artistic career at the age of 14 when she was one of Xuxa’s paquitas during 1995 and 2000. As an actress, she debuted on the series Sandy & Junior in 2001, playing the villain Laila. Then came the patricinha Vivi em Malhação and, since then, she has not stopped acting, even participating in an international production. Graziella is married to actor Paulo Leal — together they have a daughter named Constance — and is pregnant again.

Bianca Castanho was once considered one of Silvio Santos’ favorite actresses for her work as the protagonist in the soap operas of SBT: Canavial de Paixões, Esmeralda and Cristal in the years 2003 to 2006. Currently, living in the United States with her family, Bianca has been dedicated to dubbing career.

The telenovela Floribella was a hit with children, telling the story of the dreamer Maria Flor in 2005. With a long artistic career, Juliana Silveira has also dedicated herself to music. The actress is married to designer João Vergara with whom she had her firstborn, Bento.

It is impossible to deny that, when we talk about Mel Lisboa, we immediately remember the miniseries Presença de Anita from 2001. Her character was so successful that she served as inspiration for the artistic name of the singer Anitta. Since then, the actress has acted in several soap operas, films and plays.

Susana Werner, in addition to attracting attention for her beauty, has a diverse professional career: she has been a model, actress, soccer player and presenter, including participating in Malhação. Living in Portugal, Susana is married to the former goalkeeper, Julio Cesar, with whom she has two children, Cauet and Giulia.
