I dream of someone who teaches me to love, of someone who shares their dreams with me and who tells me their life story, you don’t need to have much to tell, just stay all night with me sitting on the sidewalk telling you about how you cried when your baby teeth, or tell me how you reacted when your father left home.

I want someone who knows me at a glance, who understands my anxious way of being with my worries and even supports my mess. Someone who knows what my favorite juice tastes like, and who understands that some days I don’t want to talk to anyone, even with him.

I imagine someone we can travel with without too much luxury, someone who won’t mind saving money to buy something or eating a snack sitting at the bus stop, who can make me laugh when I’m sad, in someone who’s happy to see my happiness.

Someone who’s up for anything, someone who takes a risk for me, someone who makes me their priority for the night, but who also goes out with friends to chat and have a beer.

Someone who doesn’t feed my drama and fight with me so that I run after what I want. Someone who encourages me to be better, to grow.

I wish that someone has a huge heart and doesn’t care about me whenever I help someone who is in need on the street, or be ashamed of how I bring up people and make friends wherever I go.

Someone who doesn’t mind not having the most beautiful woman at the party, but who makes sure I’m the woman in his life, someone who looks at me, as if looking at a sunset on the mountain, with a sparkle in his eyes.

Someone who texts me in the middle of the day, but don’t mind if I don’t respond right away, because you know how stressful and hectic my routine can be.

Someone who sings a song for me, even though I can’t sing and being out of tune. Someone who isn’t ashamed to cry in front of me when something goes wrong at work. Someone who is intimate with me, but who knows that he doesn’t need to prove it to anyone else.

Someone who thinks about me from waking up to sleeping, someone who looks at an elderly couple holding hands in the square and thinks about how they want to spend the rest of their life with me, someone who wants to start a family, have children and even argue to decide baby room color

Someone who understands that I didn’t go to the college I wanted and doesn’t tell me it was a waste of time.

Someone who does all this because they enjoy doing it and not because they are in a relationship. Someone who makes mistakes and admits the mistake, and apologizes when you’re sorry.

Someone who is my partner, my companion, at all times.
