How 15 actors of “Rebelde” are currently doing 15 years after the premiere of the soap opera

15 years ago, the first chapter of the soap opera premiered Rebel aired by the Mexican broadcaster Televisa. The production was a success throughout Latin America, including here in Brazil, where it recorded high ratings that only increased every day. In parallel with the plot, the musical group was created RBD, formed from the protagonists of the novel. Despite the good results achieved, both the telenovela and the musical came to an end, leaving fans with a lot of nostalgia.

In view of this, the awesome.club selected 15 actors from this late soap opera, in order to remember their great performance and check how they are currently.

Anahí has ​​always had a very busy artistic career, as a singer, actress and songwriter. In addition to acting in Rebelthe beauty was also part of the musical group RBD which was formed from the novel. After the end of RBD in 2008, Anahí continued as a solo singer and began touring all over the world, releasing in 2016, the sixth album of her musical career. With the end of the group RBD, Alfonso Herrera dedicated himself exclusively to his acting career, working for theater, series, soap operas and films. In cinema, in addition to acting, he dubbed characters, such as Walter Nelson from the minions in the Spanish version.

Currently, the Mexican heartthrob is acting in the series queen of the south — starring Brazilian Alice Braga — where a mercenary assassin lives. And next year, Alfonso will debut as a protagonist in the film Me Casé Con Un Idiota.

Christopher participated in several successful soap operas such as Daniel’s Diary and Amy the girl with the blue backpackbut achieved international recognition with his role in Rebel and in the group RBD. With the end of the plot and the musical group, the young man remained focused on his career as a musician and actor, reconciling the two activities.

The last work as an actor took place last year, when Christopher starred in the series diablero and also in the movie codified single. He recently announced his new musical project called Subtle Universe.

The visibility it achieved in the times of RBDmade Maitê invited to star in several soap operas, the most recent being in Daddy to all mother in 2017. In addition to acting, Maitê recorded a musical album in 2013.

The actress and singer remained in the artistic environment for her performances in films, soap operas and by participating to this day, in the comedy program Me Caigo de Risa.

Jack is known for his performance in Rebel and also for being one of the protagonists of the soap opera Miss XV who together with other actors in the plot formed a pop band called Em 15 in 2011. Five years later, the band broke up and the Mexican artist decided to focus on his acting career.

Jack’s last acting job was in the series ungovernable in 2018. Since then, away from the spotlight, Jack, who is also a photographer, uses social networks to promote his work.

He began his career as a teenager as a model, and was soon invited to participate in soap operas and other programs produced by Mexican TV.
