Hello friends!
We are now starting a new Free Course here on the site about Positive Psychology! The Course will have special emphasis on the 24 Character Strengths listed below which serve as the blueprint for Sanity. In other words, instead of creating a Manual of Mental Illnesses, as is the DSM-IV or, in part, the ICD-10, positive psychologists want to study the best of humanity, going beyond humanistic psychology and doing use of empirical tests in order to prove variables and hypotheses and, thus, promote mental health.
Let’s start the Course with a video lesson by the creator of Positive Psychology, Martin Seligman, in Lesson 1. Then, we will have texts with practical application, such as the technique of visualizing the future and the technique of gratitude.
Over time, we will insert new specific techniques and continue the texts on the 24 strengths of character!
So let’s start?
