Personal Biography

I was born in a small town in the interior of Minas Gerais, called São Lourenço. Small city but known worldwide for its Mineral Waters and its Spirituality.

I am passionate about my profession, Psychology! Since I was a teenager, I have studied Psychology and Philosophy, learning from the great authors in their mother tongues – be it the German of Freud and Jung, the English of William James and Skinner, the French of Lacan…

I graduated in Psychology 9 years ago at the Federal University of São João del-Rei – a historic city that was one of the first to offer a psychology course in Minas Gerais.

Since 2006, therefore, I have been trying to help each one of my patients (and my patients!) to find their own path – to find themselves and to find the answers to the main question within their own hearts: – What do I do now? What do I do in this situation?

To better understand the way we make decisions, how we build our history, I continued studying. I entered the Masters in order to study the question of identity: Who am I?

I learned that we always have something that stays with us (as if it were our essence), but at the same time we change, change…

In 2010, the year I completed my Master’s, I took a course as a guest student in the Doctorate in Psychology at USP, with Prof. doctor Laura Villares.

Currently, I am studying a Doctorate at UFJF, in Psychology of Religion, supervised by Prof. doctor Sydney Noah. The thesis that is being written is about the work of the Psychologist CG Jung.
