1. Saved from the Titanic (1922)

Less than a month after the sinking of the Titanic, the first film telling the story was produced. And, to get even closer to reality, the “actress-survivor” used part of her own clothing that was on board the transatlantic.

two. Atlantic (1929)

Atlantic (untitled in Portuguese) was the first spoken version that told the story of the Titanic. It even had a large budget to be an unforgettable cinematographic production, because, like the company of the Titanic – a White Star Line —, the production was of English origin. And the curious thing is that this film needed to be shot entirely three times, because the producer was interested in being successful in selling it to other countries that spoke different languages. Therefore, in addition to the original version Atlantic (1929), in English, was also produced the Atlantic (1929), in German, and the Atlantis (1930), in French.
