Difference between introversion and extroversion

You have probably already used some of these terms in your vocabulary, the most common probably being: “So-and-so is an extrovert”. But do you really know what it’s like to be an extrovert?

According to Jung, consciousness is expressed by attitude (introversion and extroversion). In the case of extroversion, the individual worries and channels his energy towards the environment, towards the external world. It’s that kind of person who feels great when he’s in a busy environment, with other people, in a group. He speaks his mind. He values \u200b\u200bthe external world, focuses on goals.

Introversion is the opposite of extroversion, an individual is sometimes labeled as shy (which often shows that it is wrong to say this, there are introverts who give lectures to thousands of people and do not feel threatened at all, that is, not even every introvert is shy). It’s that quiet person in hers, and often she’s always airy, with far away thoughts. Introverts prefer to be alone or with people they really know.

If the extroverted individual prefers a party with many people, the introvert prefers a party with at most his closest friends. He thinks a lot before he speaks. He doesn’t show reaction in certain situations like extroverts do.

The introvert lives his internal world, that is, for the introvert, what he feels in the face of situations is worth much more than the situation itself, he focuses on his subjective. These are the main differences between extroversion and introversion, between extroverts and introverts.

It’s also important to remember, in addition to the fact that not every introvert is shy, that attitude represents dominance. With this, someone can be more extroverted in a certain phase of life and less in another phase. Especially, from the age of 35-40, the so-called midlife crisis, it is common to see people who were very introverted become more extroverted and vice versa.
