Curiosities and transformations of 14 artists in the “Show dos Famosos” painting

O Celebrity Show It has been on the air since 2017 on the Domingão do Faustão Program. It is a framework in which singers, actors and even comedians pay tribute to other renowned artists and move everyone with incredible performances. It was in this attraction that Ícaro Silva surprised with his performance and even won the first season. In the same way, Mumuzinho, Ludmilla and Di Ferrero impressed all of us, turning into artists like Alcione, Beyoncé and even Bon Jovi.

Although we know her mainly for her roles as a comedian on the show Zorra Total, it seems that singing is really one of the artist’s great passions.

Actress, singer and comedian Samantha Schmütz participated in the first edition of Show dos Famosos, in 2017. She played Elis Regina, Ricky Martin, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna and Cher. And she took 4th place when she introduced herself as Cher.

Luiza Possi took to the stage George Michael, Lady Gaga and Madonna and was in 3rd place in the first edition to interpret Shakira. And not least, she also paid tribute to her mother, Zizi Possi, singing Asa Morena.

But Show dos Famosos will forever be marked in the artist’s heart: backstage she met the director, with whom she started dating in 2017 and had her first child in 2019. Luiza even mentioned, in a relaxed tone, that she liked the painting so much who married the director and had a child with him.

Another comedian who made a name for himself in his performances was Nelson Freitas. He paid tribute to Alejandro Sanz, Cauby Peixoto and Psy and was runner-up in the first edition by performing as James Brown. Psy’s performance sent the audience into a frenzy.

The great revelation of the first season of the painting was on account of Ícaro Silva. The actor and musician who started his career very early (many remember him in Malhação) gave beautiful performances and was the big winner of the inaugural edition, in 2017. He played artists of different musical styles, such as Beyoncé, Alexandre Pires, Ney Matogrosso, Bob Marley and Ivete Sangalo and was champion by reviving Michael Jackson.

Fourth in the second edition of Show dos Famosos, actress and singer Helga Nemeczyk, well known for her roles in Zorra Total, surprised everyone with her voice honoring Luciano Pavarotti in her debut. Furthermore, she even commented that, characterized as Pavarotti, she felt that she resembled her father. At the time, his death had completed two years, which touched her a lot.

Another very unusual and even funny curiosity is that she was challenged, after her debut performance, to sing a non-classical song by the group “Raça Pura”, but with the voice of Pavarotti.

On the following Sundays, she played Madonna, Ana Carolina, Gretchen, Janis Joplin and Beyoncé and came in 4th place as Liza Minnelli.

The country singer also gave something to talk about on Show dos Famosos. In fact, her passage through the board was atypical: after being eliminated, Naiara went through a repechage among three other eliminated (Alessandra Maestrini, Sandra de Sá and Paulo Ricardo) and managed to reach the final with the highest score.

Her choices were somewhat eclectic: she debuted as Katy Perry and went through Joelma, Cindy Lauper, Claudia Leitte, Adele, Shakira and Justin Bieber, performing as Anitta in the final. She took 3rd place.

Who is not surprised more and more by the talent of Tiago Abravanel? In his debut, he left the judges with their jaws dropped by singing the classic “I Will Survive”, by Gloria Gaynor. In the following weeks, he represented music greats like Sidney Magal, Elton John, Milton Nascimento and the iconic Tim Maia, in a surprisingly incredible way.

A participant in the second edition of the program, actor Silvero Pereira surprised everyone with his artistic skills. With great prominence in everything he did, he reached the final but ended up in second place. His performances went through Pabllo Vittar, Freddie Mercury, Gal Costa, Steven Tyler and Cher. In your last performance honored Edith Piaf.

The big winner of the 2018 edition, Mumuzinho, the darling of the public, says that the biggest challenge of his participation was having to sing in English. He played great names in music, such as Pericles, Stevie Wonder, Alcione, Louis Armstrong and Ludmilla, who by irony of fate would become champion next year. And also Ivone Lara, who consecrated him champion of the season.

Solange reached the final in 2019 competing with Ludmilla, Di Ferrero, Hugo Bonemer and Diogo Nogueira. The singer said that she faced the latest challenge, like Christina Aguilera, with fun, as it would go well in her performance. The main impasse was dancing, since she didn’t practice. She played Sérgio Reis and Jennifer Lopez and surprised everyone by singing “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

Hugo, one of the greats who made it to the third season finale, played artists like Luan Santana, Britney Spears, Oswaldo Montenegro, the unforgettable Amy Winehouse and Fred Mercury.

One of his characterizations took around 6 hours to complete, so that the artist could dive deep into his character at the time of the performance.

At the end of that season, the finalists had the score zero and whoever had the most points would win. Hugo performed as Freddie Mercury and, despite his excellent performance, failed to take home the award.

Finalist in 2019, in addition to being one of the great highlights and third place, Diogo played several artists from the Brazilian and international scene. For him, it was important to rescue moments and celebrities from Brazilian music that, in his opinion, were a little forgotten.

The musician performed as Cauby Peixoto, Michael Bublé, Angela Ro Ro, Wando, Nelson Gonçalves, Ray Charles and his dear father, João Nogueira.

lud was the winner of the third edition, along with Di Ferrero. Yes, the two were champions, as their performances were so good that there was a tie, with a score of 49.9. Playing Beyoncé took her to the top spot, but the singer also gave life to other renowned artists such as Michael Jackson, Anita Baker, Deise from Fat Family and Sandra de Sá, among others. Her trajectory with countless facets and a lot of versatility was highly praised and marked the season.

Winner of 2019, along with Ludmilla, Di had a remarkable path this season. His performances were highly commented and praised by the judges and the internet audience. His great highlight was the interpretation of the idol of the 90s, Kurt Cobain, singing “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, by the band Nirvana.

The artist also gave life on stage to names such as Bruno Mars, Andrea Bocelli, Alceu Valença, Justin Timberlake, Cazuza, Cássia Eller and, finally, Bon Jovi, who led him to be champion.
