Crochet has flooded the streets of a Portuguese village and the result is the purest creativity.

Vila Nova de Cerveira is a village located in the north of Portugal, known for an original event called “O Crochet Sai à Rua”. This began to be celebrated in 2015, when the local council asked all inhabitants to knit pieces together to create a common project. The result was so successful that, from that moment on, during the months of July and August this city is adorned with the work people do throughout the year. The results are spectacular and more and more visitors come to the site on these dates to learn more about this creative idea.
